Can someone link me to a guide to replacing the rear brake line? Can it be done without dropping the fuel tank? I don't mind rerouting it if that simplifies the job.
Thanks

Can't be done following the original route with the tank in place, but regulations allow re routing, as long as the pipe is secured at no more than the permissible distances.
The section of pipe that's actually behind the tank usually remains in perfect condition, so there's also the option of leaving that pit and joining new sections to it. This can be done with a male and female 10mm brake pipe nut, and a single flare on one pipe with a double flare on the other.

Great, thanks. I'll have a closer look now I know the tank can stay in place.
