Just a question in terms of, when is the time to replace suspension springs?
There's no best before date, and other than one snapping, when would you change them?

hard one to give a definite answer, but i normally change them when they start to get a little saggy, or when i change the shocks & if the spring looks to be in good condition i'll keep it as a spare.
if you are going to change them make sure you have some good quality spring compressors (machine mart etc, NOT ebay).
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Ah a good point. Might as well do the top mounts too. Saw a pair of lemforder springs for a tidy price.
