Good evening
I wonder if anyone has experienced this little problem , my 13 button OBC works very well but has developed
one small problem ,the temperature reading is very erratic , it goes from reading normal to extremely low ,the gong sounds when it reaches a freezing temperature as it should . I wonder what maybe the cause, I'm guessing a faulty sensor, loose or corroding wiring / connections .is there a method of testing the sensor.
Thanks

The temp should read very low (-40 degrees?) when the sensor is disconnected, so it sounds like you're on the right track. I suggest removing the plug from the OBC and connecting an ohm meter between the plain blue wire (pin 2) and the brown wire on pin 1. This should a steady reading that reduces as the temperature increases. Wriggle all the connectors while watching the meter, looking for sudden changes.
