Good afternoon, apologies if I've posted this on the incorrect forum page but I wonder what posters views are regarding the engine shown in the link , a good / better replacement for my current M20 2.5 ? and has anyone a list of parts I'd need to convert and fit into my car
Thanks

Hi mate, getting rid of the M20 already? Can't be that bad?

As for the M52 it should be exactly as per the Wiki as that has been done a few times, for a few time-saving bits talk to DanThe I think he normally has things like looms etc ready to go.

The engine I have in is fine , new cam, oil feed pipe, rocker arms , timing belt water pump but the consumption is shockingly poor, (I use the car most days ) its developed a rattling thrust bearing so that's a job I'm not looking forward to due to arthritic joints so I've been toying with the ideas of increasing the power output and driveablity of the car and entrusting the fitting to a local guy . The car is worth investing the money in as it has very little rust
