E30 320i offset

Ok i have had a search and found offset refered to many times but couldnt see what the ideal ET is for the E30........ reason i ask is that i have a lovley :? set of bottle tops on the car and a set of 15'' x 7j fondmetal 5 spokes in the garage that i bought for the VW (100 x 4 pcd) but they are ET42 and have no tyres,

From what i have seen on here 205/55 is the size to go for..... if the offset is anywhere near.

Around ET25 is ideal, so you'd want to get some spacers...
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

Thanks ziggy, looks like thay will be Ebay fodder soon then.... i wouldnt trust 17mm spacers 8O

Would seem to be the best bet really... you might get away with 10mm spacers & if you went with proper ones they shouldn't cause any probs... Better idea to get some wheels that are the right offset in the first place though :thumb:
