Hiya all,

I don't use forums very often so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I am looking to sell my E30 Cab as I barely use it anymore (gutted) and I am not sure what to advertise it as (Price)

Details:

1989 E30 Cabriolet manual gearbox Macau Blue Mtech 1
MOT for 8 months
Standard Chrome bumper old skool Mtech with good chrome all round (only one corner of the rear is dull ish but no rust)
6 branch tubular manifold and stainless system throughout
ABS Bypass mod
Not a spot of rush on the bodywork
Interior is grey leather with stitched centre console and door cards (Not bad nickl just usual bolster wear on drivers seat)

Paintwork is ok although recently the bonnet has gone dull. Not sure why have tried t cut and wax etc.
Electric roof does not work (Hasn't since I had it) but goes up and down manually fine.
Central locking does not work
There is a rubber bush in the steering column that is totally dead (Not safe to drive)
Handbrake handle has snapped.
Leak from the tank or the pipe somewhere (Runs fine if you only fill it half way)

I will Add photos ASAP!!

Awesome car and gutted to see it go but I am looking for advice more than anything. I am wondering what it is worth in its current state or if I am better off fixing all of the issues before selling.

Any advice welcome.

Not a spot of rust on the bodywork, now that is a bold statement.

Always worth fixing cheap to repair faults like the steering, locking and handbrake, and sticking a new MOT on it to get maximum return.
What, and more importantly why, is an ABS bypass mod. Sounds like a good way of devaluing by some serious amount.

The brakes were always terrible on the old beast no matter what I did. Good pads/discs and bleed. I had seen a couple of people bypass the abs and replicated it. Brakes have much better bite and performance now apart from no abs I can put it back to standard pretty easy anyway.

Any clues on what these cabs are worth roughly?

Okay firstly, what engine is in it? Need to see engine bay as well! Are the Headlight washers missing? Seriously fix the ABS back to normal. Full service history (Any paperwork) would help! Is the dash good too! As said before, get the car fixed in proper order and then sell it. Are the jacking points underneath in good order and not corroded! These cars are not worth as much as a coupe! What miles are on the car. Once they hit high mileage, you have to make allowance for valuing it slightly less than a low mileage!
