Can anyone recommend a scanner that will work on my 1989 325i touring please?
I've got a engine check light constantly flashing (been like it for years lol) and I've yet to fit a scanner that is actually capable of interfacing with our e30's.....
I've got a OBD II scanning tool and adapter lead. Tried it several times but obviously won't work as our e30's are OBD I
The "stomp test" does not and will not work on our euro spec cars either.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Which light is flashing? Does it say CHECK?
If so press the button on the computer in the roof above the rear view mirror.
