After the dramas with the fuel pump and getting the starter motor replaced as well as four new tyres UniRoyal Rainsport 3's I decided on a trip to Arundel yesterday then to pop in to Amberley as well as on the way home to visit a mate in Chesham.

Got up early so no roof down action until about 09:00 when I stopped off for a sausage and egg roll near Arundel car was running perfect and boy those new tyres stuck to the road like the proverbial shite to a shovel so I think they where a good buy and I recommend them.

Drove from Arundel to Chesham with the top down, boy was it fun at 20 to 50 on the M25 and on the way saw a load of TVR's a 30's Bentley, Morgan's, Caterham's and a host of other classic's so it looks like everyone was out, saw just one E30 convertible park up at a petrol station though.

Cafe Break, looks like a local bikers meeting place.

Maybe we could temp Gert out in his.........

I try to get it out most weekends when I tax it, but the weather was nice the girlfriend had a day with her son and daughter in law so then I could hoon around with the roof off, windows down and no having to fit the wind stopper and no complaints that is "windy" 8O winkeye

Cool! I took my 1970 Minor Woody Traveller for a 50-mile run to a breakers yard near Deal in Kent today, to collect a door for a customer's BMW MINI; the young guy who served me didn't know what it was until I told him! :)

Which Minor Centre did he run, out of interest (there's quite a few Minor specialists dotted about the land...)?

Interesting; I didn't know of that one in London, although I used to visit the one at Raynes Park.
