Looking to get hold of an E30 myself soon and M50 turbo convert it. Always wanted one, since I was a kid infact

Looking forward to finding something and getting started building.
I’ve had a nose through the wiki’s but can’t quite find the info, so just a quick question chaps. The m50’s are they all the same motors essentially? IE can the M50B20 just be bored out to 84mm with a m50b25 set of internals and intake/injectors to make a m50b25?
Or do the blocks/heads themselves differ?
