Seat tilt mechanism - rh/lh sides out of alignment

Hi, I've done this seat base swap before with no problems but today triggered the seat mechanism while seat is stripped down. It's the drivers side (lever) that has gone into forward position. The left hand side mechanism is fitted to the seat base and is in normal upright position.
I can't make the seat tilt function work to align them - so I can't now get the seat back back on as the two mechanisms are pissed.
Any ideas ? Just a regular comfort seat,

Fixed it - needed more leverage on arm so fitted seat back to that side
