Bmw e30 320i misfires

Hey everyone, i have a problem with my e30 which is driving me crazy now!! :cens:
Can someone help me out pls??

Its a 1990 bmw e30 320i manual. When i was buying it it had a misfire. So i changed the spark plugs, ignition leads, ignition coil, camshaft sensor, had it fully serviced with all the filters changer, cambelt with waterpump, the distributor cap and rotor arm. Had the compression checked its fine. But the problem is still there. When idling its abit jumpy and when setting off it stutters and around after 3rpm runs good. I dnt have a clue what can it be now.


Can someone help me out pls?

Hi mate,this could be a good thing or bad thing,I also have a 1990 320i and from what your saying I have the same fault and I've been putting up with it for 9 years.Dont start crying yet,I've only had 3 different macanics look at it but none of them were E30 experts.One question on your problem at round 2500/3000rpm and roll off the throttle dose it kangaroo really badly.

Not really it seems like lack of power and you can feel the misfire. after 3000rpms goes all well. Ive been to bmw dealers but ive been told that its too old and they wont take it in for a investigation. Its just its abit annoying changing things and it doesnt fix the problem.

No,but I'm going to try a new macanic who now runs the garage next to where I work.His mum has had a 325i for 15/20 years so he knows his way round an m20.
