I will say this at the start that I am not selling up !!

A couple of people have stated an interest in buying the Baur which I have told them is not for sale but out of curiosity I wondered how much it could go for.
1987 316 auto 126k 10 months test.
Its an average car condition wise and runs fine.
I have seen some very strange prices for cars recently and would like to give them a price just to see HOW interested they really are.
I have had her just under six years now and intend to keep her as she is just keeping up with things and enjoying her.
Just as a very rough guide what do you think ?

Im no expert but because its a baur (rare) and also a great colour, black seems like a rare E30 colour, I would happily pay 4k for it and would expect it to be priced around 5k. Then i would remove the rack on the boot

But that is a great looking car youve got there Mart, please dont be tempted by the money if you can help it.

Wish I had been able to capitalise on the prices from a couple of years ago. Think I will have to try to buy another soon with the way the prices are going.

Boot rack is the wrong way round.

Raised bar is meant to stop the load hitting you if you brake hard.

Mart,

When you consider how expensive it is to bring an average car up to a great condition car like yours, I mean seriously, you can blow 5K on parts, paint
and mechanicals without even breaking a sweat.

I reckon it has to be worth 6-7K, even though it's a 316, but then it's a Baur: the car looks well straight and cared for.

Don't sell it, and if you do, don't undersell it,

Cheers Paul, I have a 325 cab e46 as one of my daily drivers so get the speed fix from her but the Baur will be with me for a long time to come.
At my age I am fortunate to be able to run the two cars and her`s indoors as well if any thing I would like another car but I have been told it will not happen.

I was not fit enough last year to even mot the car let alone drive her but the road trip for next year is on!!!!
A few months for a shake down was not enough so Hertz here we go.
