Been looking at Eisenmann backbox options and notice they sell two types, one has straight exit tailpipes and is listed for an M3, the one listed for 325i etc has tailpipes coming out at an angle.
Would it be possible to fit the straight piped M3 version to a non M3 E30?

I'm pretty certain it'd be possible to fit it alright. Had the 325i version on my last E30 and the slashed tailpipes really irritated me. I think I've seen E36 ones fitted up too.

I’m guessing / hoping maybe it’s just a different diameter pipework going into backbox.
If that’s the case it won’t matter as I’ll probably need a custom center anyway as they only do a 2 piece system and I need to mate to 3 piece downpipes.

I think it’s a slightly smaller diameter pipe iirc. Shouldn’t be an ordeal to fit - potentially new mounting points needed too.
I managed to get a brand new larini exhaust for my own - pipes are straight but tiny, so will get new tips at some some. Seems like an ordeal to get a nice straight exit exhaust.
