Im interested in getting a strut brace for my e30. Its no track car, just a standard road car. Ive read and heard that they really improve handling but ive also read that they are useless. I think they also look nice in the engine bay. Anyone got one installed and can weigh in? Also, what brands/companies make good ones for the e30? thanks

If you're going to get one (I can't really see the point on a road car) then don't go for the cheap hinged type. Sparco and Hartge are the go to brands for this kind of thing but be prepared to pay!

as out wooden shoed friend above says don't go for the hinged type as they offer nothing but "looks".
if you want a proper one you WILL be looking at £150+ for a twin tube sparco type, i've got one myself & they are worth it, they take a bit of fiddling to fit but once it's on your well away.

if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
