Hi Elan
This is amazing!
Can I ask who is doing the restoration and approx how much would it cost? Is it a full nut n bolt resto for everything?
Too good!

BMR Performance carried out the restoration on the car. It was a nut and bolt restoration but we purchased new items where available. The cost will depend on how extensive you want the restoration to be. Give Barry a call at BMR Performance.

Elan is the exhaust original alpina (boysen?) - I think you cant get them any more?
Did you refurbish the original alpina shocks/springs or get aftermarket?

I notice you didn't put the side skirts back on?
Not a fan? (I dont particularly like them either)
I have the same ones on my standard 325i. That is the first time I have seen another car with them!
Did it come from Synther Nottingham originally?

I still have the side skirts but decided (with advice from BMR performance) not to fit them as it was a Sytner addition, rather than Alpina.
The car was a Sytner Nottingham built by Mark Adkin. The car still has the matching engine number which is great.

Makes sense . .
Amazing car and restoration btw!
I am dreading the rust behind those skirting when I finally get round to doing mine.

Somehow I missed this thread earlier. Wow what a car! Excellent work and looks so much better without the side skirts. Enjoy.
