Anyone restored the red on the front seat belt stalk or is it a replace job?

I'm sure someone or I read on here, that they cleaned it with t-cut, then laquered it. Just can't recall where I saw this!

I used Gtechniq C4 on mine and brought them up like new (ish).

I know this is mad, but scratch it with your thumb nail, comes up like new, no products required.

If you're going to take the abrasion route I'd recommend mild steel wool over a thumb nail.
