Hey Zoners
Bought some e30 recaro ls seats a while back, gave them to an upholstery guy to do my whole interior.... Long story short.... He managed to dismantle one seat.... Say he couldn't do the job and not put it back together...... Any one know of a guy who knows and likes to do this stuff.... Coz it's really got me down... As I can't finish the retrim on them untill they fixed up.... Will post some pics of them later so you get a better idea.
Please help
Ozzy

If you can piece them back together, do it, if not, sell as is.
The Internet - It has proven to be worthless, and is nothing but a repository for perverts.

I took all the leather he bought to finish the job.... As well. As my back seats which he had completed.... To get anything more would have caused me more headache....

I can recommend the guy who's doing my Recaro LS seats, as he has had to repair one seat in order to retrimm it....only thing is he's in Birmingham

damn those seats are sexy as hell, but i find the Recaros from the M3 evo to be better suited for more track focused/double duty. I like their shoulder support.

On a completely side note...i have a dilemma with my front springs (60mm drop). They drop the car too low the lower valance just has a finger space or 2 .
I have read up about spring assisters which can apparently lift it up slightly...or should I just change the front springs altogether...and would I have to get the same brand as the shock or would any brand fit in its place...
Cheers
Ozzy

60mm drop is massive IMO. Factory M-Suspension has a drop of 35mm front and rear over the standard, personally i do not like the idea of adding anything between the springs and the perches, but that is just me. Any consideration for different springs?ozzy2006 wrote: βTue Jun 11, 2019 9:52 pmOn a completely side note...i have a dilemma with my front springs (60mm drop). Man i would love too...having spent 500 on the H&R cup kit...but now realising the drop is abit to low with my tech 2 balance...
Unless you know someone who would like the complete kit...it has actually never been driven on...so virtually brand new...

Otherwise couldn't justify the cost...

Rav If you don't mind me asking what has been done to the dash? just wondering if it would cover repairs on the many cracked dashes around.................As long as they do other colours
By the way what has happened to Daler Mehndi? Your sig looking a bit flat these days.

The dash has been sprayed with the same colour. He can do any colour you want and repair the car is.
Company name that did the work is BESPOKE LEATHERING, he's in Tamworth.
