Hi All,
My ABS light is always on, and last week it didn't pass the "controle technique" (The French MOT) because of that. The light has always been on for as long as I can remember - I bought this car 2 years ago, but I can't remember if it has always been like that, or if it started sometime after I got the car.
Anyway, going through the very helpful "ABS Problems" page on the E30 Zone: I have checked both relays and they seem to be operating fine. I want to remove the ABS ECU so that I can maybe buy a second-hand one and see if that works. Looked above the glove box, but I found the engine ECU there instead (BOSCH 0 261 200 173), and not the ABS ECU. So, where else might the ABS ecu be? Mine is a 1989 325i. Any help appreciated!
Thanks.
Where's the ABS ECU?

Sorry, yes, it's a LHD car. Thanks.

In that case the module is hidden behind the instruments somewhere.

Okay, thanks for that... I know the instrument panel is fairly easy to remove.... Cheers.
