Ace Cafe Zone Meet 29th June

Hi all,
Just curious if anyone on here is organising the meet at the Ace Cafe next month? Ive attended the last 2 years and its been great seeing all the cars and the weather hasnt been too bad. I would like to get into the car park this year and was wondering if there is a way to sign up?

i'm thinking of bringing my PBMW to this (it hasn't gone anywhere since 2013!), just got it MOT'ed and insured etc, will be good to enjoy it a bit outside of the race meetings, having spent a bit getting it going again

Its always interesting seeing race cars next to bone stock E30's. I have to say im a fan of OEM.

i sort of have a foot in both camps, as I love classic cars in general, but having done a track day on standard brake pads and suspension in the E30, then i think the racing modifications do move it a lot closer to being 'an ultimate driving machine'

I think 'restomod' (as i understand it) is the best compromise. You can keep the original OEM look and character of the cars but you can upgrade things like the brakes as you mention and have the ultimate driving machine.
