Just tried the new Auto Glym Magma on my alloy wheels.....
Absolutely brilliant stuff!
Takes off all the little specks of iron that are left behind after cleaning.
Wheels look brand new again!

Hi Pierce
I've not used this wheel cleaner before but was looking to get some as I've been making do with a but of snow foam and shampoo mixed together and brusehd on!
How much do you have to use and does it require a lot of scrubbing? The BBS are nice to look at but can be a pain to clean!
Thanks

Everytime you idiot proof something, the world will just give you a bigger idiot.
So its not quite a wheel cleaner, more of an after clean treatment to remove stubborn brake dust, iron particles and anything that remains after cleaning.
I gave each wheel maybe 8 sprays, and just left it.... It turns bright red / purple after about 5 minutes when it "reacts" to iron and other contaminants, I then gave it another 5 minutes for luck.... at this point it looks like your wheels are totally ruined, and the paint / powder coat has gone cloudy!!!
A quick blast with a hose though, and they look just like they did when they were refurbished.
No more little black specks!
I was so impressed I just had to recommend it!

Ah, I see. Sounds like I need to give it a try. Probably wouldn't use it on the regaular at that price but for the times when I know my car will be somewhere that attracts attention I'd be keen to flex it.
Thanks
