battery booster/jumpstarter

evening folks.

looking into getting a portable battery booster/jumpstarter.

looking at the small one's as the big one i have is a bit too big in the boot.

looking at something like this from ebay anyone have one/used one?

I had one and under draw the internal battery expanded, if you are having issues with the cr and the battery drains fit a discarnect

I have a Sealy EStart works on capacitance so the battery does still need to have some charge in it to load the capacitors.

i've got one of those dis-carnects on my sport so i know they work.

in the end i went for one of these boosters \/\/\/\/\/\/

i had one a few years ago & it never let me down up until it got nicked.

I have had two of those not the exact same but similar and both died on me as the internal battery failed, you need to use them regularly to keep them in shape, the compressor also vibrates, a lot and can loosen the terminals to the battery so keep that in mind if it suddenly dies when inflating the tyres. /VOE

i know what you mean, i had one a while back that failed on me, but in it's defence it was pretty old & did come from a scrap yard after leading a pretty abusive life.

also, got a small compressor wired into the boot in my daily (volvo v70) so the compressor will hardly be used.
