Hi everyone,

I'm trying to replace my clutch cylinders, however I'm stuck on removing the master as it will not move.

I have removed all relevant nuts and bolts, disconnecting the hard line and cutting the soft line to the reservoir (I'm replacing this anyway) - however the bastard won't budge. The grommets in the firewall for the end of the cylinder and the soft line seem to be prohibiting its movement.

Does anyone have any wisdom with removing the master on a right hand drive model? I have not been able to find any guides on how to do this on a UK car.

Thanks so much.

i did mine the other day,

it should just pull out nice & easy if you wiggle it about a bit while pulling on it,

see if you can remove the firewall grommet as that may help.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
