WTB OEM 85 E30 Hitch, L&R Taillights, & 2dr R Window Motor

Hello from Orange CA SoCal -

I'm the original owner of my USA 1985 325e E30 Coupe purchased new on 5/7/85 in OC, & I am looking for the following new/NOS Factory Parts, if you still carry them:

1. BMW/OEM Full Assembly or Partial/Parts for 1985 E30 Hitch Option for either USA or UK/Euro Gooseneck - for my big "diving board" bumper 1985 325e 2dr Coupe.

2. BMW/OEM 2dr Right Side (our US/LHD passenger side) Power Window Motor for my 1985 325e 2dr Coupe - either just the motor, or motor with the regulator.

3. 1985 USA Spec or Equal Left & Right Taillight Assemblies - Lenses, Housings & Gaskets - as either assemblies or individual parts, for my 1985 325e 2dr Coupe.

Please advise which are still available either in stock or on order from BMW, with prices - or alternatively please recommend other sources for them.

Also, does your dealership have access to the factory towing ratings for my 85 325e for braked & unbraked weight bearing, & same for weight distributing, and same for the hitch weight/tongue weight?

If so, an you please email the spec page(s) with those numbers.

We're looking to tow our "new to us" vintage 1970 Eriba Puck, which probably won't touch those limits at its 660 lbs dry/empty & 1000+/- lbs. wet/loaded & 70-100 lbs HW/TW weights - but I want to know the BMW factory parameters, which do not appear in my owner's manual.

Jon - I sent it to you in a PM. I bought it on 5/16/85 & is a pre-refresh E30 model 2dr Coupe.

Unfortunately everything you are looking for is now no longer available from BMW Germany.

We were not open when the E30 was in production so do not have any of the info that was around when the cars were new.

There is a dept in BMW Germany called Mobile Tradition who it might be worth an email too for the info on towing weights.

Hey Jon, looking at this from a broader perspective ....

For my era E30 325e 2dr Coupe -

Can you please tell me if the Left & Right power window motors only can be interchanged side-to-side (not the regulators)?

Or do they have gearing at opposite hands, &/or motors running opposite directions, which would prevent using a left/LHD side motor on the passenger/right door?

Also, can the motor only from the right/passenger side door for my 2 door coupe be interchanged with the motor only for a 4 door front &/or rear door window of a 4 door &/or Touring/Wagon &/or from a Cabrio/Convertible right side - all would need to be using the similar rod-type regulator (but not interchanging the regulator)?

If so, can you get any of the above motor parts now New/NOS either with or without the regulators?

The motors are handed and dont swap sides, they face a different way when fitted, it appears it is a common part with the 2dr, 4dr and Touring models.

Any chance that you'd have any new E30 front or rear 4dr or Touring motors - with or without the regulators (I'd sell off the non-applicable regulators) - that would work in my 2dr?

Sorry Tom they are no longer made by BMW in Germany so we cant source them, you will need to go second hand.
