Thanks mate, my wife would say no to more E30s as well, but I would love to build another, but saying that, this one isn’t finished yet.
When are you going to finish your E30 story?

What a nicely written tribute. I’m sure that message would resonate with a lot of us, just how much these cars mean to us. Those words non-car people say always tears me up “it’s only a car.”
I can wait to wish my Rory a happy 30th birthday!
You can't polish a turd, but you can paint it matte black

We’ve all been there Mick
Oh yes we've all been there

My first one turns 35 in a few weeks and I've had it for a good 30 of those. Just could never bring myself to let it go. I am hoping to have it back on the road before it turns 40 but there's a few things to do before then
Good write-up Steve

It was parked on blocks in a barn with mothballs a good 5 years before the Zone came about. Poor thing didn't get much thought or attention for a couple of decades compared to the machinery that replaced it starting with an E36 Evo and so it went on but the E30 is one of the few I kept.
Couple of years ago I pulled the covers off it and started getting
those thoughts again
I may be mad but its quite nice to know I'm in good company
