Currently in the market for an accurate torque wrench - one that is +/- 4% accurate and clicks.

I have currently found these two:

Capri Tools 31002 - 10 to 150 Foot Pound - £85

Tekton 24335 - 10 to 150 Foot Pound - £55

Does anyone have any other recommendations on accurate torque wrenches or any experience with either of the above?

(I already have 2 beam torque wrenches)

Have a look at getting a Halfords trade card, very easy to get .
The quality of their tooling is really good.

Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.

i wouldnt worry about one that is too expensive. the relationship between preload and torque is about only accurate within about +/-25% anyway

Interesting, I hadn't really thought of it like that but makes a lot of sense.

Managed to get a Halfords Trade card. Extremely simple to get.

The tools are definitely pretty good quality and some professional tools come with a lifetime warranty.

I bought their 100 series torque wrench in the end for £72 with the trade card discount. Good from 20nm to 100nm - pretty much everything on an E30. Comes with calibration certificate of +-3%. Also works in both directions thanks to some swanky design.

Couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the tip Mart. :)
