It'd cost about £1000 to put that right with a new hood, battery and sprayed centre caps.
That tells you that the owner is skint and will accept less.

On a good day, on my very best day, I could be persuaded to think ‘busy, doesn’t have the time’. Until the very end and the centre caps are mentioned.

I knew they were getting harder to find but JesusHchrist. Talk about taking the Arthur Bliss.
The Internet - It has proven to be worthless, and is nothing but a repository for perverts.

one of 250 made should give it some value.....
I saw another "limited edition" car being sold on ebay. Tin-top this time - it was a wreck needing more than £1k spending on it. The final bid was over £7k.
Why would you NOT sell the centre caps?!!

I hear what everyone is saying and I always want to see people get a good deal but.. at the end of the day it's his car and he can sell it for any amount he sees fit. It really depends on what people are willing to pay, if it's to high, it just wont sell.
How many people on here would have paid £400 for a uncracked dash a few years ago?

You can't blame him for trying, even if he might be dreaming, as said above, people are paying silly money for some things these days. It is only worth what someone will shell out anyway.
Can't understand the centre cap thing myself as they are (or were last time I checked) available new and the noggy silver ones are cheaper than the normal silver ones anyway.
Why strike a deal and then unscrew them as the buyer drives off. Take the £15k (or whatever you get) and use a couple of hundred of it to get some new ones. Someone is only going to knock you down by the price to replace them anyway.

I don't want to pick holes in someone's 'for sale' thread, if he thinks he can get 15k then good luck to him. But in my opinion Motorsport cabs have always been a bit of a rip off. Ok, there are limited numbers but the only thing that makes them 'better' than a regular cab is a power hood that probably doesn't work, bubble leather that is nigh on impossible to source when it inevitably gets ratty and a bit of extended leather trim. There may be bragging points involved in saying you own a Motorsport but it's all a bit tenuous in my eyes.
That said, good luck to the seller!

“What we’ve got to do as members is show we are bigger than the sum of our car parts. If we take a bit more of that approach – a bit more unity of purpose – we’ll get a great result out of sellingacarexit. We’ll also unite the E30 community.”
