afternoon folks, looking for help/advise.

been asked by a friend if i would replace the front to rear brake line & T piece on his e30,

thing is i haven't done those on an e30 in quite some time.
also i 'll only be able to drop the rear beam a fraction, as i dont have access to a lift or pit.

my question is what would be the best way to go about removing the T piece? had a look at it & the bolt that holds it in place looks to be in there solid, gave it a good soak in plus gas while i was having a look (god that stuff stinks) i don't fancy damaging the bracket it's mounted on.

any ideas on the best way to remove it without damaging anything?
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Yep but I'll be re routing it up the side by using braided steel as the main fr/rr pipe will be braided steel as well.

Just trying to work out how to get that T piece free.

Bolt holding the tee piece unscrews more easily if all the pipes to it are cut/unscrewed, and you apply an anticlockwise force to the whole tee piece at the same time as loosening the bolt with a spanner.

It's the way I normally shift them , but I've never done it with the tank in situ. I like to drop the tank and rear subframe out, and refurb the entire lower rear end in one hit.
