Try T-cut with a damp cloth - honest!

If it's on the glass a gentle rub with T cut will do it. If you use thinners be careful on painted parts.

The other one is WD40, excellent for overspray! Just spray it on the lamp and rub with a cloth. Also handy if you ever get overspray on paintwork too as it is milder than t-cut and can be washed off easily

this worked for my brother on his 320i coupes rear lampe

1 - rub it down with 1500 wet sand paper - plenty of soap - use 1000 if its realy bad

2 buff it by hand with t cut or compound - use a buffer if u can

it will work - trust me

In my experience bodyshops tend to just use t-cut on glass apart from on the windscreen.

As John said, detailing clay is brilliant for this purpose, and nothing to worry about...forget sandpaper and spirits etc, this stuff is awesome!

When my M3 came out of the bodyshop, it felt horrible, a light coat of spray all over the car, clay removed it all, and can be used on all parts of the bodywork, glass etc.
