Hi y'all!
im chris, 26 and from the UK.
Own a 1994 e30 touring 316i - my first ever e30 and loving it.
Thought id join a few e30 forums for a general look around and interaction with other owners.
So my touring was all standard when i had her, nice original looking car but to high for me so i temporarily fitted some vmaxx coilovers. I soon want to go air ride. being red the paintwork was faded over the years so i had a mate spend a day and half bringing it back to life and now sparkles. My plan so far although not set in stone is to take out the 1.6i and dump my m54b30 engine from my e46 330ci into it, will have a strip down and rebuild before going into it and id love to turbo charge it one day just to make a nice subtle looking weapon. Not for track or anything but just the car shows i go to throughout the year. But as i say nothing set in stone just yet I'm still in the planning stages of engine swaps, next thing i to put my new wheels onto the car - a set of 16" schmidt moderlines.
Will post future updates or questions i have.
Few attached photos of the car.
Last photo is when i first picked the car up - way to high for my liking lol

First things first, welcome to the mad house, very nice touring you have there and a late one at that.Like the idea of the 330 but hopefully you'll leave the rest of the car original.

Nice Touring! Other than the E30 M3, I like the shape of the Touring best. Would a Touring with M3 fender (Wing, I know...) bulges be sacrilegious?

It has been done before, I personally do not dislike it.
