Sadly im out of action for the next week as my nice german lady decided to fall off an axle stand roll down a ramp and roll over my arm at the same time.
Luckily there are no loss of limbs or major breaks just a chipped bone and some muscular damage !

tip for you all, never lower your car 60mm or it could crush you and u will die.
always when you remove road wheels put them UNDER the car as if it fall off a jack or axle stand it wont crush u and kill u.
i was removing the autobox. and fighting very aggressivly under the car and kicked the axle stand by mistake.
yeah it hurt like a bastard i thought i was gonna be sick
still sore

my sport's on a 60mm drop. Surely the weight of the car would hold the axle stand well and truly in place?

im always a bit weary when youve got a car jacked up on the roadside and underneath as if it does fall when your car is lowered its gonna fucking hurt or be fatal

I've always got the jack and at least 1 axle stand under any car I work on-and often use the "tyre trick" you mentioned.

Jesus! Thats mad. Glad your ok though as it could have been worse. I normally sling a spare wheel, blocks of wood, eextra jacks etc. under the car if its jacked up just incase it falls. Spare wheel normally is best.
