electrical connector under the inlet manifold ... m40

Good evening. Can any one tell me if the electrical connector under the inlet manifold on a m40 engine is similar to the one on the 6 cylinder engine. that is, corrodes and can lead to problems.
thanks in advance . All i can see is a black long box ? with wires going in .

This is the blue temp sensor on the M40:

Not sure if the 6 cylinder uses the same one but I know for sure thats what goes on the M40s having had a few with the same issue.

thanks ,but not talking blue temp sensor . already changed / checked that at the ecu.
