Best I managed was £50 "winnings" when a buyer failed to turn up and collect an old XT500 thumper, they said they were arranging a van after they paid their deposit, never heard from them again

Looks like it's on 14s still, did you go for that size for ride purposes or are they are in fact 15s?
Please do us a final shot before it goes Mick...

they are 14's i bought them from a mate so didn't break the bank at £80 2yrs ago , it arrived on steels with wheel trims so they had to go ... only 14's but all good tyres and a full set of centre caps , they look better on the car than £200 in my pocket and the car back on steels and wheel trims
down to the final stages now the bonnet and wings are all flatted and polished , i'll button it up early next week and it'll go for an mot as soon as i can arrange that ready for it's viewing mid sept .

not too shabby eh

It's a mint car which is why I left a deposit but like mick said I originally set out to buy a 2dr and last week I was offered a pretty nice 2dr 18iS so I contacted mick telling him such. I knew he wouldn't have any trouble selling it and I was even still thinking about buying it when i get back from the US if he still has it.

give me a shout mate but i do have another buyer on 12th sept travelling from down essex way and another buyer wanting to leave a deposit if i can store it a bit while he sells one of his cars , rule of thumb is first one to arrive with cash money drives it homePalmer8 wrote:martauto wrote:Just dont know what people require these days ?

Fantastic build though Mick, aside from anything else, from a marketing yourself point of view, you can't put a price on this thread
