e30 lhd steering rack - s50 conversion

Hi I am doing a s50 swap in a lhd e30.

i wanted to change steering rack to a e46 purple tag. Can i use one from a rhd uk vehicle or will i need to get one from a lhd e46?

Any help appreciated.

You obviously need a LHD rack if you want to keep the car LHD, its a yellow tag on these
