Those 18"'s fill the arches really well, but IMHO they raise the car up to high..?? :? would look sweet on the ground.!!

Yeah that's right 60/40, i really happy now looks just right to me, not really into the slammed look :)

Maybe in hindsight my one regret when doing the re build is not doing the mtec front, but what do they say about hindsight :D

Thanks go Alan, zone member Motorsport who was 1st to put these wheels on his immaculate convertible, the way to go.

Any one want some 16" Alps 7" + 8" , give me a shout.

Yo Wilson & big dek

Wilson, i had just the same reaction when Msport posted these rims on his cab, i'm pleased you like em, get some quick as i think they'e in short supply!!! :D . You need to find :save on tyres ad on ebay , set of 4 cost's Ԛ£520 delivered fitted with 215/35x18's no less.

The ride is really good slight tramlining & a little wobble that comes & goes between 80&90mph, but who gives a castlemaine 4x when your motor looks this good

The front spoiler must be an acquired taste, i loved it at 1st but know i wish i still had mtec 2, but then again it's different !!!!!,They can be had from www.autovouge.co.uk.

Cheers steve P

Car looks great, glad you like them. Check your balance when you get a chance as i get absolutely no vibrations. The overall diameter is actually only 1mm greater than a 205/55/15 BBS, just happens to be all alloy (dipped in rubber).
They are short supply, it took me a week to get a fifth as a spare. They were originally made as a low run for the Z1 (4x100) 8J. Just so happens to fit E30!!! Although they are only an inch bigger than the last Alpina reps i had, the difference seems far greater. I also like the way the fill out the arches in width too, just like the latest M3/M5 etc when fitted with 19".
Good find hey, as you say snap em up cos i don't think they will make them for too long.
Mine below has mtech setup for anyone else considering them, i don't think the ride height is altered at all with the mtech.
Andy.

Hi Andy

Yor cab deffinatly looks lower, dont know if it's just the darkness under the car or what, when i got the H&r kit i choose not to put the rear springs on, thinking it would drop down over the tyre ( i don't like that!!) but looking at yours i recon it would improve the look had i have fitted the _40mm springs :o

I have now accuired a E36 M3 lower splitter to fit, hopefully it'll give some more depth to the front end !!?? :)

nice car, I've never seen an E36 style front bumper on an E30, does look alright and will look better with the splitter, as the front looks a bit high.

amazing what a difference it makes having 17's or 18's because it seems to me bigger wheels increase the hround clearance.

Yeah this ride height ??????

Anybody got a tape measure?? I think it's a combination of front spoiler & new wheels, given that the front has 60mm H&R springs,!! :o i'm now going to get the rear springs changed & fit the new splitter, should help it look a bit meaner.!! :D
