Has anyone upgraded their brake master cylinder?
Currently have a clio servo.
Seen that you can use an e32 750 MC but not sure on the fittings for a clio servo?
Annnd would i then need to change the brake lines?

Ive upped to a 23mm master cylinder on several cars with standard calipers but this requires a bias valve to the rear. 750i 25mm cylinder is too big a diameter, the pedal will be rock hard

i now use a 23mm M/C with a clio servo & a tilton bias valve in the rear line but also have 4 pot calipers on the front but had to adjust the bar from the brake pedal to the servo clevis pin to get the pedal height back to where it was before.
as for replacing the lines? i replaced all the rubber lines with braided steel & the hard lines with kunifer.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Thanks for that - I should of mentioned I'm running 5 stud all round with E36 M3 front brakes ?
They've at the minute got a shed load of travel until they really bite.
The hard lines are still the same copper? With the rubber hoses now braided.

sorry i've not used e36 m3 front brakes or a 5 stud conversion,
my front are hi-spec 4 pots.
as for the hard lines? like i say if you want to change them go for kunifer (cupro/nickel) as it wont rust & lasts a lot longer than copper.

If you have M3 brakes you will need a 25mm master cylinder

Would the pipes attached as they are as in the way they fit the standard MC?
