Hey zone
My top coolent pipes burst the other day fitted it and sorted the coolent ran the fans was warm so was happy.
Today it really overheated and the fans blew cold. I removed the bleed screw and mostly coolant came out but my header tank is guessing water out of the top have I got a big air lock that's just came through? Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know if this is overkill, but I usually add coolant to the hoses themselves first to get rid of as much air as possible. Did you get the front end up gradient, or better yet up on jack stands after? Really helps to get any air up to that bleed screw.

When you bleed, make sure the heater system is on full hot, loads of air could be trapped causing air lock, just a heads up.

elevation, coolant in the hoses help but i would invest in a vacuum bleeder- saves a lot of hassle.
