Are there any "quick tests" that will determine why my central locking has suddenly stopped working?

After market alarm with key fob, when pressed hazard lights work, indicating alarm is set or unset but locks do not work...

Locking unlocking with key in drivers door only locks or unlocks drivers door...

It is an 86' Cabbie

Thanks

In my case the central locking relay/ECU had been under water, because the sill drain holes were bunged up. Also the after-market alarm had shorted out and burnt out parts of the loom, I would disconnect yours, they are more trouble than they are worth. A good steering wheel lock is a much better bet, a visible deterrent and will not muck up your electrics.

Thanks Chris... will check the central locking relay... getting rid of the alarm is not adoption due to insurance but it may be worth getting them to check it over...
