Hi . Anyone fitted standard front strut inserts lately.
Planning to fit new inserts to my front McPherson struts.
there are a couple an the market . for the standard 45mm struts.
1.6/1.8 engine. monroe , mayle and bose or bilstein ? . do,nt want coil overs of anything fancy just keep the car original.
has anyone any makes they have experience of and comments.
My car does seem to wander a bit on broken white lines and has a shake at speed thru steering , i,m hoping this will solve the issue.

My E36 would wander a bit and tramline on the inside lane on motorways, where the HGVs had had slight grooves. The problem turned out to be old tyres that still had tread but deteriorated internally. Might be worth trying for you if your tyres are past their best.
