I am sure the has been discussed many time before but here goes anyway.

What is the best tool/object best to use for unblocking drain holes, maily the sunroof ones.
I know the drain holes under the car on the sills its a case of prising the drain holes open with a screw driver if they are closed up, is this correct?
many thanks

Ok, ive just tried using a coat hanger down both of the drain holes in the sunroof and they appear to bo clear, so all good!

I have a very damp rear footwell still and i have stripped out rear parcel shelf and back seat to clean out loadsa glass that was left from my rear window exploding recently.
However, on driving to the garage an hovering all the glass out and driving home a little pool of water appeared around the 2 wiring gromets in the metal bench section of where the lower part of the rear seat would normaly go.

Has anyone had this problem, is it a case of just replacing the gromets?

Also ive looked at previous posts on this problem and many people say to check the elephants trunk type thing near spark plug6 and the batery but i have a tech 1 and the batterys in the boot, cant find any thing like the in the area.

Can anyone help, had this problem for a while, should be taking the front seat out soon so i can see under the carpet, back arches seem to be fine

I think your confusing people by talking about the drainage holes at the front and then talking about the rear footwell :?

It sounds to me like you have two different problems unless you just mean the rear drainage holes ?

The holes under the front wings are only to get rid of the spray from the front wheel, If there blocked then the whole of the inside of the wing is full of mud.
Take the plastic wheel arch out and give it a good clean out otherwise the wing will rot from the inside, i did mine and had about a four inch plug of mud and crap thrown up from the road.
Sticking a screwdriver in there didn't realy help.

As for the back, i'd check the rear window is sealed correctly. If not then get the bathroom sealant out and maybe renew the sunroof panel seal.
