Welcome to the zone mate !!
Look absolutely everywhere for rust, scuttle, inner arches, boot floor, battery tray, and anwhere else that takes your fancey.
See if there is any evidence of over heating as these heads dont like it and go through any history with a fine tooth comb.
Check the whole car and make a nuisence of your self by looking at everything.
Lovely colour and quite sought after as well.

Check the rear arches seen a few Neon's rowing away in those areas also check and double check the interior material as its hard to get hold of replacements.

Also check the engine bay below the lights and around the slam panel as it's been painted with Dulux emulsion :mad: . Other than that this car has been well looked after by an enthusiast.

There are no pics on the advert but it was common knowledge when Malc was a member here and he took a lot of flak for it.

He may well have had a saloon at some stage but this is definitely his cab, correct location too. As already said, Dulux aside this car has been cared for.

i would buy a zone car , you get slagged if it's not right on here ... if it's got a build thread it's worth a look .

can't remember if there's build thread or not but i know that it was malc who did the write up in wiki about building a 2.7 & i think that the lump in that car, so should be a good one.

99.9% sure that is Malcolm's as he moved to Norfolk a few years back. Pretty sure he's had it for sale previously - I remember it being on Car and Classic last year.
