Whats the best way of getting rid of the haze in headlights... besides taking the headlight apart...

Just done mine with only mild soapy water and a good rinse or two and thats only the inside.
as Satan says , speak to paultv for the outsides ,he did a splendid job.

Sorry to be pedantic but rice has too much starch, best to use green lentils and knock up a dhal on the side.

Beware using long grain - on a smiley there is a small gap between the front glass and the chromed cutout reflector, all around the internal edge, long grain and certain other wild rice varieties will become wedged and then expand as they soak up water - and then jammed in there for good, only way then is to remove the glass which is a PIA although do-able to get the rice out.

However, leaving the headlamp on for 10 minutes will produce a tasty snack for "on the go" drivers.
