powermaps mapping

has anybody heard of powermaps remaps from essex they came to brum to remap my mates slk kompressor and when they put the ecu back in it wouldnt run so to cut a long story short they have said they need to take his ecu and key back to essex what you think i think they might come back for the car

might know the answer to to this it could be a genuine error as it has happened to me before. when you wipe the epromm on a merc ready to install a new map to it the car thinks its being stolen and imbobilizes its self, could be sorted by simply unlocking the car with the keyfob and reloading the map to it as in my case, or prehaps they do need to unlock the ecu at essex for what ever reason. but then again who knows ive never heard of them thats for sure.

As above.
You have to read the map, then upload the new map and then shut the doors and lock the car with the key.
then unlock the car with the key remote and the car will start.
a nightmare if you dont know as nick will confirm.
