Hi all, new to the forum! I have a 1989 e30 316, I have been offered a 325 engine but I'm not sure what else I will need, will all the wiring work? I'm guessing I will need to change my box and diff? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers :)

You'll need the engine and all ancillaries, wiring loom, ecu, gearbox/prop/diff, front suspension from an M20 to handle the extra weight. There's probably more that I've forgotten but that's enough to be going on with!

Don't forget to check out pin 20 on the C101 engine socket!

To add to the list, you'll also want the fuel pump and return lines, fuel filter and ideally the tank itself.

To convert a 316, he will, but the OP states a '89 316 which never existed, so I'm assuming he means 316i and not 316.
