I recently swaped a m50 into my e30 and I can't get the guages to work exept the temp guage and I don't know if they worked before. I figure it could be the si-batteries, the c101 to x20 connector or maybe some fuses or sensors. Any suggestions?

Are you saying the speedo. doesn't work? That gauge has nothing to do with an engine conversion.
Speedo. and fuel gauge aren't affected by SI batteries, but temp. gauge often is.

Okay so the temp guage works which means it can't be the SI batteries. I looked behind the dash today and there were one blue connetctor, one white connector and one small green connctor pluged in. If I've understood right the yellow connector is irrelevent, but should there be more than one connector pluged in the green?

Connections to the green socket are usually road speed signal, used by things like cruise control and for adjusting radio volume with speed.

I seem to have found the problem. There are wires missing from my c101 connector to the rest of the car. Is there a diagram I can use to see where these wires are suppose to go?
Wires missing:
pin 8 (fuel consumption)
pin 9 (engine speed)
pin 12 (check enigine light)
pin 14 (speed signal input)
pin 15 ( thin starter wire)

Thanks alot. Are these connected to the fusebox (fuse 10 or 12?) or can I wire them directly to the cluster plugs?

Not sure I understand your question, sorry.
If you look in the wiki there is a link to the full wiring diagrams at the bottom of this page: http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Loom

More info. would help, especially about the original E30, and you still haven't answered the question in my first post.

Sorry, the e30 is a 320 -87 sedan. The speedo doesn't work. I'm not sure how to run the missing wires from the c101 connetcor to the cluster plugs?
