Hi All,
I'm wondering if these things are connected.
So on cold starting it struggles until a little throttle is added, then it'll splutter a bit, sometime cut out, but mostly lumpy for a minute or so, once it starts to warm then its all good.
Also sometimes when on full throttle or WOT, and I do a fairly quick gear change at say 6k rpm, it's like I get fuel cut for half a second or so, the car cuts out, then it's back and carries on quite happily until the next quick gear change.
Any suggestions please?
Note:
Dizzy n rotor are recent and I've just cleaned them (Did it before and after)
I've done a compression test recently and all appears good pressure wise.
Thanks.

Beware of aftermarket blue sensors. I once bought a very cheap 2 door 318i from its non mechanically minded owner that had a marked stutter when accelerating, that the local garages had tried to cure and had given up on.HartgeH27 wrote:. Cheap as chips from GSF and like companies.
Many things had been tried to effect a cure, but all I did to it was to replace the shiny, new blue sensor in the side of the engine with a very second hand genuine one.
Never stuttered again.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I've just run the 'Temp sensor' test as per:
http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Blue_Plug
and all appears to be as described from cold to hot and back to the ecu.
Air filter was replaced around 6 months ago and has run great up until recently, but I've also checked the air bellows intake pipe and it appears to also be perishing quite badly.
I have noticed 2 things today, 1 is my fuel line 'in' appears to be perishing, so maybe I'm loosing fuel pressure whilst it stands, and 2, my battery died this morning whilst trying to start it.
I'm guessing not enough AMPS from the battery and not enough PSI/BAR from the fuel line could also cause the starting issue.
New fuel line & bellows ordered, and whilst I'm waiting for them I'll do some TPS reading.

Now you're asking, no idea.aimlessrock wrote:when we're the injectors last overhauled?
Once it gets over its little starting hiccup then she runs sweet, idles great, pulls well, until the quick WOT gear change anyway.
