The lack of pic hosting required will bring a lot more traffic back here from Facebook IMO. The for sale section will blossom again, there'll be more requests for technical help and more entertainment on threads.

There's even photos of PacerPete we can use to scare the kids off.

A picture speaks a thousand words.

Great work, 10/10.

Thank you.

Banners will change on refresh with different members E30s, not only does this give members a way to showcase their cars, it's also a good way of showing the diversity of the Zone.

One of the biggest things we can offer that FB doesn't and that's build threads, there's some great ones on here at the moment.

That's a good question, it will be soon. I'm just putting plan action together to make sure it all goes smoothly.

I look forward to the article, a few members are writing them, they will be a great addition to the new Zone. winkeye

Well done Steve, thanks for all your hard work,I must agree with Tom-Maverick about the dodgy tec2.just a suggestion but what about picking part of an E30 which is in common with all models that way everyone happy, oversly big enough part to show the it is an E30.

Thanks Ah

Putting the E30s in the banner, I personally think it's a great way to give something back to Zone members.

The car in the banner is also used as a track day car, I would imagine that he takes the caps off not lose them. Read the thread here http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... sc&start=0 it's great read :thumb:

The E30 world is such a diverse one it would be nice to show this off.

One hell of a lot of thought gone into this, not just for today but for the future too Steve.
It could crash on the first few days with all the pictures going on to it .lol

How about a section for replica parts, there seems to be more and more smart people making stuff - Alpina badges, under dash panels, tech 2 kits etc.

I think it's great and BMW can't say much if they have discontinued them.

This is the automatic image resizing in action :-

These 2 browser windows are using half the screen each, as you can see the new zone resizes the images to fit the screen (responsive) and the current doesn't.

Once the browser is maximised to full screen the images will enlarge to suit your pc/devices screen. :D

The dodgy tech 2 may look a little straighter after the rust fixing but it's hard to be sure :D

Thanks tiw30

I don't think we'll ever be back to the way it was, as it was a different time in E30 & internet history e.g. cheap and lots of them about and no social media, but what we are doing is moving the Zone in to a new era to cater for the next 15 years.

Saying that I would be extremely happy if it does. :thumb:
