Just a quick question for M3 owners. Im replacing all the discs and pads on My M3 and need to know what ones you find good and others that are not. Where is the best place to buy them.
Cheers

Hi , I have always used original standard parts and never had a problem , my driving is a mix of road/track . Went to the ring last summer and they pulled the car up very well , i also have brake ducts on my car and these help a lot .
Regards Steve .

I've had loads of recomendations for BMW standard discs, and Ferodo DS2500 pads, or if you track regularly, go for the DS3000.

I would be doing very little track miles so was thinking the standard ones would be sufficient for normal road use. Where is the cheapes place to get them as the dealer is quite dear. Maxfield where did you get your set up from and how much did it set you back?

Pads from the dealer are not expensive at all, c3 sell standard discs, but beware they are not BMW OEM, but a cheaper alternative.

it looks similar to what i have whuch is a brembo GT kit, 4pot calipers, 315mm disks and brackets, listed at around Ԛ£1200+vat i belive. i think six pots might over brake the car a tad ?!
