I need to get one on 325eta and i need to know is it okay to use 325i if they sell only 325i sensor?
Would engine work?
Who tried?
Can 325i mass air flow sensor be used on 325e?

It will run, but it won't run as well as it should.
I would guess that apart from differences in the resistor track, the ETA AFM also has a weaker spring than a 325i one because of the lower rev. limit, and would fail to fully open at maximum ETA revs.

I tested 325i mass air flow sensor on ETA, it runs 2 seconds and dies.Brianmoooore wrote:It will run, but it won't run as well as it should.

Are you certain that you don't have other issues? The AFM signal isn't used at idle, so shouldn't affect the engine's ability to start and idle.

Yeah, I have, my eta runs 30 seconds and dies with 2.7 mass air flow sensor, with 2.5 it runs 2 seconds.Brianmoooore wrote:Are you certain that you don't have other issues? The AFM signal isn't used at idle, so shouldn't affect the engine's ability to start and idle.
