I have a 325i track car and it seems to be really badly effected by fuel starvation under hard cornering. This use to happen with about half a tank but at bedford last week this started happening with only a qtr of the tank gone, it wasn't far from full to be honest. The fuel pump is noisy and I'm wondering if its giving up the ghost. Has anyone experienced this before and would the characteristics described be a result of a failing fuel pump or would this starvation happen on the strainghts as well?
Just after some opinions before I shell out 110 quid for a new pump!!
thanks
steve

Yes, I've suffered the same problem, the fact it's noisy pretty much answers it though, changing the pump cured my problem.
