Thanks very much.Steve wrote:clarko74 wrote:May I be upgraded please? I'd prefer 'old skooler' to 'camper'.
I've just checked and I'll soon have been on here for 13 years, not that I've posted much...
All done![]()
Still a lot of old skoolers about
Yeah, I'm still here lurking. In fact I've done more work on my E30 in the last month than I have done in the last couple of years, I'm getting rid of the rust, and there is plenty of it. I'll update my thread in the member's e30s section at some point as I know you all love a bit of the brown stuff...

Well I only joined up late last year but in my defence the zone wasn't around when I parked my E30 up let alone when I bought it.
But then again the net wasn't much then either
Glad its around now I'm pulling it out of the shed
only another 10 years to go then

The site needs to differentiate between Old Skooler and Really Old Skooler or just Old Fart with an E30

I look at all the E30s I broke and all the bits I’ve thrown in the bin. If I’d of kept all the bits I’d have a gold mine.magpie wrote:mate i bet that wound gets deeper every yearmaxfield wrote:It was an M3, genuine bruv.

I remember buying an E30 for £40 and a bacon cob.

I'm happy being a camper for now.. Although.. My first car was an E30 back in '97 so I guess I'm an old skooler at heart.. D431FSP and 17 year old me bloody loved it.. Chromie 316 4 door in Zinnobar red.. Still have the numberplate up in the garage! What a slippery slope that car led to
